Thanks for stopping by, and I hope this website has at least piqued your curiosity. Here’s a little bit about my background.

Having worked 20+ years in the corporate world, and now leading my own professional coaching practice (since 2016), my career has undoubtedly had many twists and turns, as well as peaks and valleys. Thankfully, very few dead ends. Perhaps the biggest constant, however, has been my unwavering pursuit of adventure, exploration, physical fitness and mental clarity.

From a very early age, spending time outdoors and staying active became an essential component of my lifestyle. I’ve been a rancher, cowboy, soccer player, race car driver, mountain climber and triathlete. At the same time, I am endlessly fascinated by the journey within, i.e. the inquiry about consciousness and how everything comes into being. It is the eternal interplay between what’s inside and outside that keeps me most curious and engaged.

Formal education and training: I am an ICF certified Integral Coach, and hold a B.A. in Social Communications.

Mixed origin and whereabouts: I am of Swiss-German-Italian-Cuban descent, born in Mexico, raised in Brazil, and currently based in Asheville, North Carolina.

Languages: Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese; basic knowledge of German and Italian.

ATHLETIC ENDEAVORS

• 12 years racing triathlons competitively in all distances - Olympic, Ironman 70.3 & 140.6, and XTerra

• 8 years climbing mountains solo and alpine-style, with 200+ ascents of Mexico’s volcanoes, U.S. Fourteeners, and expeditions to Chimborazo, Cotopaxi, Aconcagua, Denali and the Indian Himalayas

• 7 years running ultras, specializing in high-altitude “sky races” and 50k events

• 2 years taking part in multi-sport adventure races, with a focus on Patagonia’s Desafío de los Volcanes

• 11 years horseback-riding and working as a cowboy, including an internship at King Ranch

• 10 years playing soccer competitively, culminating in a full season with BSC Old Boys (Switzerland)
